Wagyu Beef Burger Instruction Card


From Our Kit

– Wagyu Beef Patty x 2
– Brioche Buns x 2
– Tomato x 1
– Lettuce x 4
– White Cheddar Slice x 2
– Red Onion x 1
– Unsalted Butter x 20g (for buttering buns & frying patties)
– Unsalted Butter + Olive Oil x 10g (for caramelizing onions)
– Red Wine x 2 tbsps
– Garlic Mayonnaise x 2 tbsps

From Your Kitchen

– Cast Iron Skillet / Skillet / Frying Pan
– Small Saucepan/ Pot/ Frying Pan
– Knife
– Chopping Board
– Salt / Sugar / Pepper

How To Cook


1. Wash and pat dry all fresh produce.
2. Season wagyu ground beef with salt and pepper. Using your hands, mould into 2 round patties (about the size of the buns).
2. Peel and slice onion thinly.
3. Slice tomato.
3. Cut brioche buns into half.

1. Heat small saucepan/pot/frying pan with the butter/olive oil mix.
2. Add in sliced onions and cook, stirring continuously till onions are caramelized, about 8mins.
3. Pour in red wine and season with a pinch of salt.
4. Once red wine has evaporated and you get a jammy consistency, remove from heat and set aside.

1. Spread butter on the 4 halves.
2. Heat up your cast iron skillet/skillet/frying pan. Place buttered sides down and over low heat, toast buns still lightly crispy. Remove and set aside.

1. In the same skillet/pan, add in remaining butter. Once almost melted, add in beef patties and over medium high heat, sear the bottom for about 3-5mins, bottom should be browned (depending on your preferred doneness).
2. Flip over and sear for another 3-5mins. At the last min, top with sliced cheddar.
3. While patties are cooking, layer base buns with lettuce and sliced tomato.
4. Top with cooked patties, red wine caramelized onions, garlic aioli and top with bun.
