Another vegan dish we enjoyed so much so that we do not miss meat meals at all! Lu Rou Fan is a traditional Taiwanese braised meat sauce served on top of steamed rice and often paired with egg. This is popular street fare in Taiwan – it’s cheap, hearty, unpretentious and rich in classic Taiwanese flavours. The traditional version uses minced pork, but our vegan version replaces the meat with tofu crumbles.
